    Services

Alongside its core commercialisation activities, Probingon takes on a small number of bespoke project engagements each year. These draw on the specialist expertise of the Probingon team and its research partners at MMG, Uppsala University. Both services described below are offered selectively, on a project basis, and are not marketed broadly.

Clients typically find us through reputation or referral within the sector. If you approach us, chances are you already know our work. If we approach you, it is because we have assessed your situation and believe a collaboration could create genuine value.

    Specialist Consulting

    divider

Probingon offers specialist consulting to medical device companies, veterinary technology developers, and organisations working with microwave and RF technology in biological applications. Engagements are project-based and bespoke. There are no standard packages.

The value we bring is a combination that is difficult to find elsewhere: deep expertise in microwave physics and its application in biological tissue, hands-on experience across the full medical device development cycle from fundamental research through regulatory submission and commercial launch, and an extensive network within the medtech and adjacent industries built over decades of practice.

Typical engagements cover technology strategy, R&D programme design, commercialisation planning, regulatory pathway scoping, and OEM or licensing strategy. Each project is scoped individually based on the client’s specific situation and objectives.

    Tissue Equivalent Phantoms

    divider

Probingon produces tissue equivalent anthropomorphic phantoms for use in the development and validation of microwave-based medical devices. Phantoms are fabricated at MMG as part of our own R&D work and are available to a small number of external partners and researchers on a selective basis.

Producing accurate tissue phantoms is an artisan skill. Replicating the dielectric properties of skin, muscle, bone and organ tissue across the relevant frequency ranges requires materials expertise, precise fabrication technique and rigorous characterisation. Off-the-shelf solutions rarely meet the requirements of serious microwave device development.

We work with qualified buyers who understand what they need and why. If you are developing a microwave or RF medical device and require phantoms with verified dielectric properties, contact us to discuss your requirements.

    How We Work

    divider

We do not pitch for work or respond to open tenders. Engagements begin with a conversation, typically initiated through a shared contact or an existing relationship within the sector. Medtech and adjacent industries are tight communities, and our network reflects thirty years of active participation across research, development, regulatory affairs and commercialisation.

Once we establish that a collaboration makes sense, we scope the engagement jointly. We define the problem, agree the deliverables, and set a timeline before any work begins. There are no retainer arrangements and no open-ended mandates. Each project has a clear start, a clear objective, and a clear end.

If you believe we could add value to a specific challenge you are facing, we are open to an initial conversation. Contact Mark Schneider, CEO, at or +46 (73) 780-6572.
